Whenever I’m making tapas at home, which is fairly frequently, I love to cook up some mushrooms to add to the table. These don’t have to be served only for tapas though, these make a great appetizer for any occasion and also, if you slice up the mushrooms, they become remarkably similar to the mushroom crostini recipe! I always reach for chestnut mushrooms but white baby mushrooms work great, you can also use larger mushroom like portobello’s too, just chop them if they are large.
- 1 small punnet of mushrooms
- 2-3 garlic cloves to taste
- 1/2 stick of butter… yep… I said it!
- Chopped parsely
- Salt and fresh ground pepper
Sauté all this deliciousness together, add the parsley at the end, et voila!
