There are a ton of recipes online for hasselback potatoes like the one here from food network. These baked potatoes of Swedish origin are sliced half way downtime potato to create a fan effect. you can have fun with the flavors by using salt and pepper, or substituting with paprika and other spices. In the picture below I served them with beef fillet.
