If you have an afternoon at the weekend and want to try something new and delicious, try one of the many recipes out there for homemade pasta. If you’re making a flat pasta like fettuccine, you can do it with some good old fashioned elbow grease and no fancy pasta machines or rollers. I do have an attachment for a kitchen aid, and use it if I’m making something more delicate, but for some reason these handmade fettuccine noodles are spot satisfying. there need a hearty rags like the bolognese I used before. There are many recipes so you can find your own online, my tip would be not to be afraid of making pasta, and invest in some good double zero / 00 flour. Its a silky smooth flour that is more refined. Here’s a few pictures from my last fettuccine fest!
